Tree Pruning Services

A.O.M. provides full tree and shrub pruning services. Dead areas on your trees can be due to several reasons. The main is that the tree has too many branches, and not all of them can reach the sunlight. Other reasons are due to disease and fungus. Either way, they need to be removed. Cutting out the dead branches and stems from your bushes and shrubs gives the surviving branches room to breath, and may help prevent the disease from spreading into the remaining branches. Consider it as cutting out an infection.

Mulch Benefits Tree Health

Organic, natural mulches provide several benefits for your bushes. They provide natural nutrients that you bush will absorb to grow stronger. They also provide a much needed 'blanket' that protects the roots during the cold fall and winter months. A strong root system almost always guarantees a beautiful bush.

Transplanting Bushes and Small Trees

Every shrub/bush requires its own amount of sunlight, shade, and water. Depending on the kind of bush you have, placing it in an area to sunny or even too shady will result in the ultimate death of the plant. A.O.M. has great relationships with local garden centers.  Staff have been educated to make sure we use the adequate amount of sunlight, water, and shade for proper growth and survival. We will work with you to relocate your bush to the proper area in your lawn to ensure future benefits.

Brush and Land Clearing

Brush can become a giant aggravation for many home owners. If you are looking to extend your property, give it a fresh new look, trim the brush back to where it used to be, or even get a pile of your own trimmings removed.

TREE REMOVAL

We specialize in the removal of large trees in delicate surroundings. We go out of our way to ensure a safe tree removal while protecting the surrounding plants, hardscapes, and structures. It is our standard procedure to cover all surfaces in the work area with tarps and plywood where necessary to prevent wear and tear on gates, siding, plants, and any other delicate objects. Not all tree removal techniques are equal.

STUMP GRINDING
A.O.M. can remove any size stump and major surface roots from your yard. We usually grind down to a depth of 12-14 inches, more than enough to install topsoil and plants. Or we can grind deeper as needed if you are planting a larger sized tree. Even if you just want an unsightly stump removed, we can do that as well.

Normally, we leave the resulting stump grinding mulch, which can be mixed with topsoil or spread out in garden beds to prevent excess topsoil evaporation. This is often back filled and mounded in the resulting stump hole. However, for an extra charge, we can haul it. We can also replenish the hole with real soils and plant new trees if that is your goal.

YARD WASTE REMOVAL

Spring or Fall, A.O.M. has the equipment to get your property looking as beautiful as it should. Don't want to clean up a mess like this? We do. If you are unable to relocate the waste to the curb side, we are happy to help with that as well. With multiple crews, we can have someone there before scheduled pick up dates to ensure it is removed from your property.
